"In December of 2006, three average guys from Chicago decided to head to the border of Chad and Sudan to get a better understanding of the crisis in Darfur and its impact on the surrounding region. Along the way they documented the folks they met: refugees and rebels, aid workers and politicians, bleeding hearts and jaded stalwarts. Ultimately, they soaked up enough of the situation's complexity to make their heads spin."

On June 10, 2007, Visions hosted a film screening and discussion with two creators of the film Everybody's Got a Heart of Gold, Jason Mojica and G. Ryan Faith.  The event was hosted at Busboys and Poets in the U Street neighborhood.
